Getting started takes less than ten seconds. There are no lengthy registration forms or passwords to remember—simply sign in securely with your Google Account, Apple Account, or use the secure code to sign in with any email. Your saved analyses, custom property boundaries, and past scouting history will automatically sync across all your devices, tied to your email address.
Because analyzing complex geospatial satellite and elevation layers with advanced AI requires access to real computing power, GameSearch-AI runs on a flexible credit system, as well as an optional Unlimited Membership:

When you're ready to see the full picture of your property, click Unlock Full Analysis. For 5 credits (or free if you are an Unlimited subscriber), unlocking immediately opens up all high-probability hunting areas, complete summary reports, and the ability to export all points directly to OnX Hunt, HuntStand or your GPS.
If you ever need to acquire credits after running a preview, don't worry: your analysis is safely saved in your Analysis History. You can open it anytime and unlock it whenever you're ready.

When you click New Analysis, our four-step wizard guides you through setting up your hunt. Giving the AI the proper context ensures the advice matches your exact species and realistic field conditions.
Begin by choosing the game animal you plan to hunt: White-tailed Deer, Mule Deer, Elk, Black Bear, Wild Turkey, Coyote, Moose, or Black-tailed Deer. The AI tailors its habitat evaluation to the distinct biology, food preferences, scent vulnerability, and bedding tendencies of that specific species.
Animal behavior shifts dramatically depending on the calendar, time of day, and weather patterns. Step 2 allows you to dial in these critical timing variables:
- 🦌 Species-Specific Parameters (e.g. Focus Shed Hunting): For deer and elk, toggling shed hunting instructs the AI to spotlight south-facing thermal slopes, high-stem-count bedding thickets, and crop edges where winter bucks drop their antlers.
- 🌤️ "Hunting Soon?" (Live Weather Forecasts): If you're heading afield within the next 10 days, checking this box connects directly to real-time Google Weather forecast data for your exact parcel. The AI will ingest forecasted wind speeds, prevailing wind directions, and temperature fluctuations.
- 📅 Month of Hunt: Planning a trip months in advance? Pick the target month so the AI factors in seasonal habits—such as early-season bachelor feeding, October acorn mast drop, November rut cruising, or late-season thermal yarding.
- ⏰ Expected Time of Day: Select Morning, Midday, Afternoon, Evening, or All Day to align spots with feeding-to-bedding transitions or afternoon staging.
Step 3 gives you fine-grained control to steer the AI's tactical focus. While the AI performs exceptionally well with default settings, customizing these parameters helps match your individual hunting style:
- 📝 Additional Information & Instructions: This is one of the most powerful fields in the app. Add information that you think is important for the model to know. Also, type in real observations like: "Active logging in the northwest corner," "Creek is dried up this autumn," "Neighbor has stands along the eastern fenceline," or "Trail cameras showing heavy buck traffic along the south hemlocks."
- 🎯 Analysis Objectives: Choose what you want the AI to solve for—such as Day-of-Hunt Planning, Tree Stand / Ground Blind Placements, Trail Camera Placements, or a Scouting Trip Route.
- 🏹 Harvest Strategy: Toggle between finding high concentrations of game (Any Legal Animal) versus pinpointing areas frequented by mature older-age-class animals (Trophy Focus).
- 🌲 Terrain Features Checklist: Highlight specific terrain structures you want prioritized—such as pinch points, saddles, ridge points, benches, bedding benches, marsh/wetland edges, or evergreen thermal cover. It's generally recommended to leave these blank because it simply allows the AI to choose what is optimal for your objective.
- 🚶 Access & Pressure Settings: Check Select Accessible Locations to prioritize spots near roads and easy walking trails, or select Prioritize Low Pressure Areas to push deep into hard-to-reach sanctuaries where pressured animals seek refuge.
Step 4 is where you establish the piece of land you want examined. Many hunters wonder why a property boundary is required: defining a property boundary keeps the AI strictly focused within your hunting grounds, preventing it from suggesting stand placements across legal property lines or on neighboring private land.
If you already map your hunting property in OnX Hunt, HuntStand, or Garmin, this is the easiest method:
- Export your property boundary or waypoints as a
.gpxor.kmlfile from your mapping app. - Upload it in Step 4. If your file contains a drawn area or polygon, GameSearch automatically recognizes it and snaps your property boundary right into place!
- If you upload a track or line that traces your perimeter, you can click the "Convert to Property" button to turn it into an active boundary.
Don't have an export file? You can locate your land in seconds:
- Click Find My GPS Location, type in an address or zip code, or enter raw Latitude and Longitude coordinates.
- Once your location is loaded, click (+) Draw on Map under Property Boundary.
- On the map screen, simply tap around the perimeter of your hunting parcel to drop red boundary pins. The real-time area widget will calculate your total acreage and square miles as you draw!
- Toggle between Satellite (with High-Detail ArcGIS or Most-Recent Google views), Terrain, and 3D LiDAR Elevation to see contour ridges and timber clearings clearly.
- When your boundary is drawn, tap the black DONE button at the bottom to return to setup.
Pro-Tip: Add Access Points: Under the Property Setup screen, click (+) Add Access Point to mark where you park your truck or enter the property from a trail. This lets the AI analyze how your walking scent cone blows across the property during your morning and evening approach.
Once your property boundary is set, hit the green ANALYZE PROPERTY button. In less than a minute, GameSearch-AI evaluates the satellite vegetation, terrain contours, and elevation hillshade data to return your report.
- Interactive Map: Your parcel is highlighted with numbered tactical zones (1 through 5), ranked by probability. Clicking any zone pin opens detailed intelligence explaining why animals use that spot, optimal wind directions, and ideal ambush times.
- Summary Tab: Read through the comprehensive Area Description, Key Recommendations, and habitat breakdown. Notice the interactive blue coordinate badges (e.g.
[43.195, -76.335])—clicking any badge instantly zooms your map directly to that terrain feature. - Export to OnX, HuntStand & GPS: Click the Export button at the top of the map to download an industry-standard

One of GameSearch-AI's most powerful innovations is Land Chat. Static scouting reports leave you wondering what to do when unpredictable field conditions strike. Land Chat allows you to hold a dynamic, two-way tactical consultation with the AI about your specific parcel.
- Wind & Weather Audits:"The wind is predicted to blow from the East tomorrow morning. How does that change my approach to Area 1?"
- Stealth Entry & Exit Routes:"Where should I walk in from Sixty Road to get into stand #2 before dawn without spooking deer feeding in the northern ag field?"

Every Land Chat response references precise locations using interactive coordinate links that connect directly to your map, giving you applied, real-world advice rather than generic textbook tips.
Scouting is never a one-and-done event. As the hunting season progresses, bachelor groups disperse, crops get harvested, and the rut turns patterns upside down.
Rather than starting over from scratch, you can click the Reconfigure button (or Reconfigure From Chat) at the top of your analysis. Reconfiguration reloads your existing property boundary and settings so you can test different winds, change your target species, or switch from early season to the rut in seconds.
When you've had a meaningful tactical conversation in Land Chat—such as discussing new rub lines, dry creek beds, or clear-cuts—make sure to check the "Incorporate Land Chat" toggle when reconfiguring!
This passes your entire chat dialogue directly into the AI's next map analysis, allowing your on-the-ground discoveries to recalculate the hunting zones and boundaries accordingly. Keep "Group With Analysis" enabled to easily flip between your variations in your Analysis History.
